With winter slowly dying off and the welcoming of spring nearly approaching butterflies are a great way to get in the mood for spring! Adventures of Flake posted a butterfly art project she did with her children using great household items such as coffee filters and washable markers. Just a spritz of water turns simple colored coffee filters into a beautiful tie-dyed butterfly! 
Supplies Needed:
- Coffee filters
- Washable colored markers
- 1 Pipe cleaner or clothespin
- 1 Spray bottle with water
Directions:
1. Color coffee filters with markers
2. Spray filters with water
3. Set out to dry
4. When dry, scrunch filter into shape of butterfly by pinching center
5. Twist pipecleaner to hold together and be the body of the butterfly. Create entennas with excess pipecleaner
