Play and Freeze Ice Cream Maker Ball

Ok this is the coolest thing ever! Seriously, I cannot think of a better invention! It is called the “Play and Freeze” Ice Cream Maker. This unique way to make ice cream is totally genius. The ice cream maker itself is in a ball form with a canister inside, the ball you are able to twist open to access and add the ice, cream, flavors, and salt. After all the ingredients are added to the ball in their special compartments, have a “ball” while throwing, kicking, bouncing, and all the above to create the ice cream!

The way we have done with the kids is putting the cream ingredients into a small plastic baggie, then with a large plastic baggie have the ice and salt. Then by hand shake rattle and roll! The only problem with that method is your hands get super cold, especially for kids who have little fingers and little patience.

I do not have one of these yet but have seen them on TV and online so I’m hoping to get one soon, maybe before summer is over? Let me know if you have one and what you think?!!

We have 2 and they rock. We bought them for the twins 2nd birthday party last year which was an ice-cream theme. The older kids had a blast making their own ice-cream and since then my teenager loves whipping up his own whenever we have no pre-made in the freezer.
