On the day after Thanksgiving Portlanders will gather in Downtown Portland at Pioneer Courthouse Square to celebrate the official start of the holiday season by lighting the city’s spectacular 75ft Tree! Thousands of people are expected to attend the 25th annual Tree Lighting Event which unites the community in a big way!
I have never gone to see the tree lighting in person, I have always watched from the comfort of my home but I’m thinking this year is the year to go down and become part of the excitement! Crossing my fingers for no rain.
