After years of getting ready in the bathroom, I now have a makeup station where I can sit and get ready for my day at my leisure. I do my makeup, hair, and often paint my nails at this station. When friends come over I will use this room to do their hair & makeup needs and play around with scrapbooking crafts which is another hobby of mine.
My first purchase towards this room was the from Big Lots ( I have also seen these at Target). The off white color gives a vintage armoire feel, feaux crystal knobs and a tri mirror that is attached to the back of the table. The unit came with a matching stool that was padded and dmask print which later broke from me scooting around, so I now use a computer chair which works just as great.
I love how convient it is to not be in a confined space of a bathroom and have everything I need at my arms reach instead of taking up room in the bathroom.

This weekend I went to IKEA on the hunt for a more presentable storage unit and any thing else I could find to help organized me items. Keep reading to see what I purchased!

Before the other two pieces I had plastic tridrawers from Target that look like this…

They worked great but I was running out of room and it became more and more cluttered and less put together.

Inside the 1st drawer: On the left side I have face items such as moisturizers, eye makeup remover, and random samples. On the right side more hair products, hair ties and clips.

Inside the 2nd Drawer: lotions, scrubs, and soaps

Inside the 3rd Drawer: Hot Tools I dont use often, and random odds and ends
