My current online find and obsession is Pinterest.com
Pinterest is like Twitter and Flickr all in one. Pinterest is full of beautiful pictures and images from all over the pnterest that people have “liked” for inspiration, curiosity, and just fun.
How to get started on Pinterest.com
- 1. sign up for a FREE account {HERE}
- 2. Find your friends via Facebook, Twitter, email etc.. (I was surprised by how many of MY Facebook & Twitter friends had this)
- 3. Create a “board” or two or three. Boards are basically a “theme” to organize your pictures that you liked (Some of my boards are Holidays,Tasteful Treats,Crafty,Beauty,…)
- 4. Explore! When you see an image that you like, you have the option to “like” which will then post to your Facebook page as a like. OR you can “Repin” which you then can choose which board to pin it to and then pins to your Pinterest account.
- 5. With your pins you can also at mention Twitter friends (using the @ before their name) and your can also use the # symbol too.
- 6. If you want to know more about the image you see, just click it and it will take to the person who uploaded it or the website it came from. This is great if you see a recipe you like and want the full how to.
Check out Pinterst.com and have some fun! I can waste a few hours just exploring the thousands of uploaded images. It’s a great way to also find other people who like and repin that same things you do! I have found a ton of great bloggers who are crafy, cute, and creative.
