October is my favorite month of the year! The crisp feel of fall in the air with cozy yummy treats to spoil your fancy. But by far I really look forward to the end of the month when we can get a little crazy and participate in Halloween costumes and decor!

My Mom has always decorated our home growing up in a spooktakular way with fall colors and the whimsical spirit of Halloween.

Re-purpose used baby food jars and organize your spice cabinet with a crafty spin that is cute and organized.
Ashley over at joshashleyworld.com tried an idea she saw on Pinterest (if you don’t know what Pinterest is read my post about it {HERE} )
Using old baby food jars that are personally decorated, labeled, and attached to the fridge with a magent adds an artful touch to the kitchen and is visibly useful which makes finding spices easy.

Create Halloween treats with Michael’s Giant Eyeball Sticker book for $1.00! Very cute idea from ‘it is what it is’ blog.

Supplies Needed:

Michael’s Giant Eyeball Sticker book for $1.00
Small ziplock bags
Monster Eyes TAG printable found {HERE}

Directions:

Cover tops/bottoms of mini Reese’s peanut butter cups with eyeball stickers for spooky snack.
Place in small plastic ziploc bags add a custom tag, and share!

Free Printable Halloween Treat Bag Labels

Using the template of baggie lables from Living Locurto seen here I turned her “You’re Sweet” treat bag labels into “Happy Halloween” Treat Bag Labels! Using a regular sandwhich bag, fill them and staple the tag over top. Hand them out to trick-or-treaters or as party favors to friends.

For Halloween this year I am excited to dress up as a Peacock! Store bought costumes are always cheaply made and overpriced so as I do every year, I will be making my own.

Paper Towel Fall Inspired Wreath

I love wreaths for all seasons! Even better, I love wreaths that can be handmade with scraps around the house. I found this gorgeous fall wreath on Made By Nicole and thought WOW I wonder where she got this.

Surprisingly it is made out of paper towels! Yep 2 ply paper towels, distressed inks, and a few added textures.

There are my favorite fall colors Yellows,Reds,Oranges, and Warm Browns.
