Starting tonight at The Keller Auditorium the Broadway hit musical Xanadu is showing in Portland though the weekend! For the past months I have seen advertisements on TV, but never really knew what the musical was. After seeing Portland’s local new channel go behind the scenes of the stage a little before the show, it got me excited and wanting to go!

The musical Xanadu is a comedious musical of a young girl’s effort to build the world’s first roller disco and finding love along the way.The original movie Xanadu released in 1980 starred Olivia Newton John which is an unofficial remake of the 1947 film Down to Earth.

Tickets start at $28,and some “limited” seats available for $25 sitting right on stage!

Xanadu runs from January 12-17, 2010 at The Keller Auditorium in Portland Oregon.
