I have school today during the day, our instructors or letting us dress up on the salon floor so I bet the clients will get a kick outta that. Being a cosmetologist in training it is going to be SUPER FUN to get wild and do my hair and makeup. Tonight I am dressing up as a Bumble Bee and Jeff is dressing up as a NASCAR driver with a cool old 80’s jumpsuit coat we found at an exchange store! We will have pictures up maybe by Monday from our fun night on the town hopping a few bars, parties, and costume contests.

This unique idea came from Dabbled, a site known for experience with art, food and crafts.
You can pick up tapioca pearls at any local health food market which are uncooked. Check out the recipe {HERE} ( the process of boiling and soaking in sugar syrup). I recommended you do a test batch first to make sure they turn out as desired.

• 2 sheets of waxed paper
• Fall colored tissue paper (orange,brown,red,yellow)

• Modge Podge or watered down glue

Supplies Needed:

• Test Tubes with toppers (glass or plastic whichever you can find)
• Small sized candy to fill (M&M’s, Candy Corn,Skittles)
• Decorative Ribbon,Papers,Stickers
• Adhesive

Directions:

1. Wash your tubes with soap and water. Let dry

2. Decorate your tubes with various papers,stickers,ribbons, or even paint!

3. Fill the tubes with the goods!

Ingredients Needed:

• 1 Green Granny Smith Apple
• 10 Mini Caramel Chews
• Spoon
• Stove Pan
• Halloween inspired sprinkles

Directions:

1. Unwrap mini caramels and set aside

2. Heat stove on medium high

3. Melt caramels in the pan on the stove until all melted. (This can be done in the microwave for easier cleanup)

4. DO NOT BURN THE CARAMEL! You will be sorry because it will turn black and taste of burnt sugar So be careful

5. Wash your apple and cut as desired. I used an apple corer from the dollar store

6. When the Caramel is to the right smooth consistancy, drizzle with a spoon over the apples

7. Time to sprinkle! Mine was a Halloween themed round set that was from Walmart

8. Enjoy!
